Does charactor actor exist in Morocco ?

Character actor does not exist yet in Morocco. Simply because we do not have Studio System and there are not really continuous cinematic and TV productions that go on and on. Sometimes, Bastaoui or El wali can do small parts because of luck of work. However, they say that there are no small or big actors .There aresmall parts and big parts.

What exactly is a character actor, though? Simply put, it's an actor who fills the secondary roles like shop owners and cops, teachers and doctors, crooks and office managers. They play "characters." The belief, in casting directors' minds, is that they are familiar looking, believable and but not distracting. They deliver their lines and give the production a feel of authenticity.
