Carpe diem in Sahara inspires Allal El Alaoui to shoot Al Wassiya.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is a famous writer in France and the majority of French people know Sahara because of him. Being a great writer and poet, Antoine was inspired by spiritual silences of dune and rocky sands. Antoine refers to hard living by Tuareg and nomad people in his famous books such as “Le petit Prince ‘and “

MOUSSA AG AASARID is also a Tuareg who was born in Mali and went to France for further studies. He comes back because he misses his home –land, Sahara that represents calmness and peace for him. The confessions of this man has great impact on Allal and surely on his screenplay Al Wassiya that will be produced by SNRT very soon.

From this context, Allal El Alaoui went to the south of Morocco in order to discover the beauty of this region and its decent people .Allal writes his short film called Al Wassiya and will soon be shot around Zagora where there are beautiful dunes and cinematic Saharian views.
